Hoagie's Valentine

I love IU. Here’s why. This is a statue of Hoagie Carmichael that’s by the auditorium/ fine arts building. Every so often people will add stuff to his attire and all that jazz- like this valentines day swag. The other day there was a plaid scarf to remind us to vote on the official design. But it’s cool because students never vandalize him, just make him look cool. It's one of those things that you don't really think about until you see him in different attire, then it's awesome. People are respectful of good ol' Hoagie Carmichael. That’s all.

I am an initiated sister of Alpha Gamma Delta (shoutout to my squirrels!). I am also an initiated member of Alpha Phi Omega, which is a service fraternity I am on the Swim Club Student Advisory Council, I am an active participant in Psychology Club. I volunteer at Circles Youth Initiative and Midwest Pages to Prisoners weekly. I am a Student Spill Responder, and a blogger for WeAreIU.com.
