What They Didn't Tell Me

Finals Week- Spring edition
This year, spring has a late onset. Mother Nature seems to be torturing us by having the weather become nice as soon as it is finals week. It is not helping me be any more productive than I already wasn't. Last week,  my "dead week" wasn't very lively. No, I didn't spend the much need time off from...

Dinosaurs, Hot Wheels, and Egypt... In 2 Days
Over Spring Break I was given the opportunity to be an extern at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. It's the worlds largest children's  museum, and it's here in our capital city. As a kid, I LOVED the children's museum. It's pretty much the coolest place ever. I heard about the externship...

Trading Laces- Gender
The Office of First Year Experiences is starting this cool new program called Trading Laces. The point is to learn about other people's perspectives, as I am sure you have heard the old saying about taking a walk in other people's shoes. In my effort to become a more balanced person, and because I...

My reaction to 1ND1ANA beating Michigan State
WE JUST WON! 72-68. It was an away game at Michigan State and a nail biter. I was in an IUDM meeting that started at 8 and we were getting score updates the whole time. Michigan became unraveled against the pressure. I mean, it's easy to do when you face 1ND1ANA. They had a 66-63 lead with 1:50 left...

Thinking of what my favorite part of the marathon was, obviously I thought of the line dance, which led me to morale. However, as the insiders...

Reflections from a Sophomore
At the end of last semester I was doing a little bit of reflecting during finals week. Why study for my neuroscience final when I could just not do anything? (And being even more procrastinative, I am just now writing this blog post.) I started thinking about just how much my life has changed in the...

Care Packages for college students
Let's be honest, everyone likes personal mail, no matter what it is. A couple of my friends have sent me hand written letters, and those are always fun to get. My favorite thing to ever recieve is a card from my family... and normally those include a little spending cash if I've been good. However,...
