What IU Means to Me

I looked forward to moving up here to Bloomington probably more than I have ever looked forward to anything ever before. I was so ready to finish high school and begin my new journey as an undergraduate. After summer orientation I knew that IU would become a new home where I would meet tons of interesting new people and learn more about myself and the world around me. Once IU made a very generous scholarship offer, I gained even more respect for the institution and I would not consider going anywhere else.

The experiences that I have had here at IU have helped me to grow more than I could have imagined. From sporting events to theatre productions, I have done my very best to take full advantage of all that IU has to offer, which is a lot! The IU campus is a very diverse and welcoming community, which I am very proud to now be a part of. After four years of undergraduate study I am sad to leave this new home behind to settle in yet another, but I will take with me countless fond memories and invaluable experiences.

After my graduation this May, I will be working with the IU Orientation program so I can help students who are just as excited as I was to get to know our beautiful campus and all that this institution has to offer. I will then go on to law school, and I know that my degree from IU will serve me well no matter where my career takes me.

I honestly could not ask for more from my undergraduate experience, and choosing IU is definitely one of the best decisions that I have ever made!
