College - The Next Chapter in Your Life

So you're a college freshmen? You've started this next chapter of your life. As someone who has been there in your shoes let me first say that you will make it. College culture can sometimes feel very volitile and unstable and the first semester you spend a lot of time trying to balance a social life, studying, and sleep. So my first piece of advice can be summed up in the fallowing picture.

College can seem like a very stressful and strenuous processes. My second piece of advice is do what is right for you. There is no typically college experience, college is what you make it. For some people college is the greek system and great acedemics, for others its office hours and support to fully understand the material. There are also no stock extracuriular activites for you, its completely your choice. Whether you go for, greek life, sports, arts and theater. whatever you want.

So my last piece of advice to you is to embrace the person of you inside and make college your experience not the experience that I think I should have. You have the uniqueness, nerve, and creativity that is you.
